Pathumthani rice is the new strain of Thai Fragrant rice, which was developed in Pathumthani, Thailand. It is similar in some ways to Thai Jasmine Rice (Thai Hom-Mali Rice); its authentic natural fragrant, soft texture but with softer aroma and shorter grain. Pathumthani Fragrant Rice becomes more popular and is usually the second choice of Thai Jasmine Rice with its more affordable price.
